I love to be in the ocean early in the morning when it is still calm. It feels like having your own pool but better.
SEA-ESTA
Punta Cabana Beach
Distance to Casa Amando: 3 km
One of our favorite beaches in Rovinj. The self-service bar Punta Cabana is extremely relaxing with its hammocks between the trees. The beach offers enough shade. The best way to get there is to rent a bike.
SEA LA VIE
Skaraba Beach
Distance to Casa Amando: 2.5 km, the best way to get there is to rent a bike.
The most beautiful beach spot is between the old Skaraba Beach and the Restaurant Grote and it is worth spending your day there. Take your hammock & snorkeling equipment, find a nice spot between the trees and enjoy the sea view. If you get hungry head to the restaurant Grote.

Red Island - Sv. Andrije
Distance to Casa Amando: 290m (boat pier to the Red Island)

The smaller island of Red Island is the perfect spot for those seeking tranquility, though nudists may be present. Enjoy the natural beauty and serenity of this peaceful destination.

Brioni Islands are worth spending a whole day. We recommend to explore the island either on your own by foot, by bike or by e-car. Apart from that Brioni also offers golf, tennis and scuba diving.

Cape Kamenjak

Hiking along Cape Kamenjak is one of the most amazing trips in Istria. Don't miss the rocky beach in the southern part of the Cape. It is fun to watch the cliff jumpers, but be careful with the sun, there is no shade. If you need some shade then go to the amazing Safari Bar. More details can be found here

Grožnjan

Grožnjan is an Artist town on a hill with a lot of galleries owned by the artists themselves. It has some nice Cafés and Restaurants. One of them has an amazing view to the valley.

Motovun is a charming hilltop town with a rich history. Visit the historic Antico print shop for a glimpse into traditional printing, where visitors can also create their own artwork on a replica Gutenberg press, or enjoy the artistic vibe at Café Gallery Artipolis, a café and art gallery offering stunning views of the valley.
