Accessibility Information

We strive to provide all our guests with a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

However, our property is not fully accessible for guests with mobility or other disabilities due to its location in Rovinj’s historic Old Town and the architectural constraints of our heritage-protected building. Below is an overview of accessibility features currently unavailable:

1. Access to the Property

Our house is located in the Old Town of Rovinj, a pedestrian-only area with cobblestone streets, which can be challenging for individuals with reduced mobility.
While there is a paved ramp leading to the property, the entrance includes a step down that must be overcome to enter the house.
Pathways within the property are not designed to accommodate wheelchair use.
The communal kitchen offers ample space for movement, though it is not fully wheelchair-accessible.

2. Accessibility of the Rooms

There is no elevator within the property, and wheelchair access to the upper floors is not available.
All room and apartment entrances are threshold-free, with door widths of 70 cm.
Pathways and room features, including beds, light switches, and shelving, are not adapted for wheelchair access.
Bathrooms feature a small 1.5 cm threshold for water protection, with level-access showers in Room0 and Room1. Room2 and the apartments have an additional threshold. None of the bathrooms are equipped with grab bars or emergency pull cords.

3. Communication and Service

We provide all our information digitally on our website and are also accessible for communication via email, SMS, and WhatsApp, where users can adjust text size to their preference. However, we currently do not provide information in braille or large print formats.
While our staff is not formally trained in assisting guests with disabilities, they are always attentive and eager to provide support wherever possible.

4. Emergency Preparedness

Emergency evacuation procedures are clearly marked, but the layout of the property may present challenges for guests with mobility impairments.
Our safety systems, including alarms, do not feature visual signals for guests with hearing impairments.
Although staff are not formally trained in assisting guests with disabilities in emergencies, they will offer help wherever possible to ensure the safety of all guests.

We are committed to continuously improving our procedures and facilities to enhance accessibility for all guests. Should you have specific accessibility requirements, please contact us prior to your stay so we can ensure the best possible assistance.
