Cleaning the Seabed in Rovinj - Eco-Action - Casa Amando Eco Boutique House

After a 2-year break due to corona, the Rovinj Diving Club will organize again its traditional underwater garbage collection campaign on May 28, 2022. Everyone is invited to join the initiative to make Rovinj shine again.

The Rovinj Club for Underwater Activities

The Rovinj Club for Underwater Activities was founded in the 1977. It is trying to make diving easily available for everyone. The club organizes diving courses for begginers and diving courses for instructors that last about a month. The club's mission is to do something about the increasing pollution, due to the constantly rising sea level. Every year, the club organizes underwater cleaning actions that raise awerrness of the citizens of Rovinj and the tourists that visit it.

Diving around Rovinj

Diving around the Rovinjs coast is particulary intersting. The sea temperature is warm the whole year which means that you can dive whenever you want. The underwater world of Rovinj is colored with a well preserved flora and fauna, and there are many underwater walls, caves and even interesting shipwrecks.
