Why Rovinj and Casa Amando is a great place for Digital Nomads?
Recently the magazine Travel+Leisure mentioned Rovinj to be one of the top 17 best small towns in Europe because of its "brightly painted buildings, twisting streets, and a baroque hilltop church clustered together on a small peninsula make the ancient fishing port of Rovinj a highlight of Croatia’s Istrian coast." However, Rovinj has more to offer beyond its picturesque scenery and has been awarded for the 3rd time in sequence as the best city in Croatia in terms of quality of life.
In Rovinj you will find everything you need as a digital nomad: the right vibe for inspirations, some coffee specialty bars, a coworking space for networking, a lot of sun and a beautiful coastline. “All truly great thoughts are conceived while walking”, Friedrich Nietzsche said and Rovinj is the perfect place to get inspired.
In off season Casa Amando converts to a hybrid working & living space with comfortable desks and chairs in the rooms and apartment as well as a communal kitchen on the ground floor. Apart from that we offer premium coffee and tea with all supplements you need - free of charge.
Casa Amando is perfectly located in the heart of the Old Town in the pedestrian zone- everything you need is available within a 3-minutes walk. We encourage our guests to rent bikes and to leave their car on our private Casa Amando parking as you really will not need it.
Imagine enjoying the sun during your lunch break while sitting in one of the restaurants or coffee bars at the “riva” and observing the local life. If you are looking for mystical moments, walk through the lonely stone-paved alleyes of Rovinj after 6 p.m. The best inspirations will come while walking through the Punta Corrente Park along the coastline.
And if you want to expand your radius you can visit the other beautiful Istrian cities like Pula, Pazin, Poreč, Motovun or Groznjan which are all within a 30-minutes ride. For more inspiration here is a well researched article from the Travel+Leisure magazine
