A Long-Distance Trail Connecting the Croatian Coast
The trail
Via Adriatica is the first long-distance, coastal mountaineering trail in Croatia starting from Cape Kamenjak (near Pula) and ending at Cape Oštro - Prevlaka (near Dubrovnik). The original idea of the path was to connect natural beauties, spectacular views, historical and cultural heritage in one unique experience. The trail is 1100km long and has a total height difference of 41000m. The map on the right shows you the whole path. The hikers cross a total of 14 mountains on the trail, those are: Učka, Grobničke Alpe, Snježnik, Risnjak, mountain mass of Vinodol and Senj hinterland, Velebit, Dinara, Svilaja, Kozjak, Poljička planina, Omiška Dinara, Biokovo, Zmijsko brdo (Monte Vipera), Sniježnica.

Stage 1: From Kamenjak to Poklon
The first stage of the 13 covers 96 km and 3300 m of elevation, taking about 9.5 hours depending on your fitness level. This trail is the closest to Casa Amando and if you are a hiking fan you should definitely include this impressive hiking tour in your holiday planning.
